Prince Andrew has long faced criticism for maintaining contact with Epstein after his 2008 conviction. In a widely viewed 2019 Newsnight interview, Andrew stated that his 2010 visit to New York, during which he was photographed walking with Epstein, was intended to end their association. He later acknowledged that staying with Epstein at the time had been “unbecoming.”
