Royal journalist Richard Palmer believes their public presence will likely diminish in the years ahead. He suggests that the monarchy’s shift toward a smaller group of active working royals could eventually lead to the sisters losing their titles altogether.
According to Palmer, they are already maintaining a lower public profile and may gradually disappear from major royal events. The process, he says, appears to have already begun.
